New Displays at the Library

The Pellissippi Library has two new displays in its Reference center!

To address Banned Books Week (September 23-30), we have set up a case with information on book challenges, and a selection of some of the most frequently challenged books. You can find more information on Banned Books Week from the American Library Association.

Also, on top of our New Books case, you can find a collection of books for Hispanic Heritage Month. This event runs from September 15-October 15. Come check out our selection of books relating to Hispanic culture! To learn more about this nationally-recognized celebration, visit the U.S. Census Bureau information page.
