YOUTH PROGRAMS
Learn what it’s like to work in the fields of advanced manufacturing, engineering and construction! Our variety of camps offer local high school students the opportunity to meet industry professionals and learn about the types of skills needed to succeed on the job. Students will develop a fundamental knowledge of application-based engineering and construction concepts by participating in hands-on projects.

Camps are sponsored and hosted by the Blount County GIVE Grant, which focuses on increasing awareness of and participation in advanced manufacturing and construction-related careers. This is accomplished through working with Alcoa City, Maryville City and Blount County schools, along with industry partners and the Blount Partnership to expand career pathway programs, develop work-based learning opportunities (internships, apprenticeships, etc.) and increase access to industry recognized certifications and testing.
