Career Services serves students and the community by connecting students and employers, sharing employment opportunities, and helping students to prepare to enter the workforce. Career Services provides resources, events and activities that assist students in their career development and readiness.
Career Services assists students in pursuit of their career development and readiness skills, to prepare them to either go straight into the workplace when they graduate or to transfer to a four-year institution to further their education.
Career Services provides assistance and resources to help students make better informed career decisions. They work with individuals in their career development. Many of these include identifying transferrable skills and career competencies, job search strategies, resume and interviewing, networking, workforce needs, employer, job and career fairs, and job placement.
Partnering with area employers provides students many opportunities to learn about career paths within industries. Career Services works with employers by sharing job postings and hosting employers visits on the campuses. Working closely with businesses, Career Services provides them with prospective candidates for employment.
