Training and Professional Development

for Pellissippi State Employees

  • When: Annually
  • Required by: Tennessee Board of Regents audit and State audit

All employees must complete this course by June 30th each year

  • Instructions: Employees are enrolled automatically when the training is activated in the fall semester.
  • Description: Training covers account and password security, data security and privacy and recognizing common phishing and other cybersecurity attacks.
  • When: Within first two weeks of employment and annual refresher
  • Required by: Pellissippi State Community College

All employees must complete this course by December 31st each year

  • Instructions: Employees are enrolled automatically when the training is activated in the fall semester.
  • Description: Training defines implicit bias, the impact of implicit bias in the workplace/classroom, delivers strategies for disrupting and reducing implicit bias, and assists with the creation of actions for dealing with implicit bias in personal and professional interactions.

  • Description: Pellissippi State Community College is committed to a work environment that is free of harassment and discrimination.   • Description: The Tennessee Board of Regents and Pellissippi State Community College are committed to providing a supportive learning environment and fostering safe, healthy relationships among our campus community. As such, the institution and members of our community will not tolerate the offenses of dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. This program is intended to help you learn more about these issues, as you play an important role in keeping our campus safe.
