Project Grad

Project GRAD Knoxville

Since 2001, the Project GRAD Knoxville and Pellissippi State Community College have inspired hope and provided opportunities to help improve student achievement, graduation rates, college/career path readiness, postsecondary enrollment/completion, and address barriers along the way.

Pellissippi State Project GRAD Summer Institute provides students with early exposure to college life and seeks to align the community college experience with Knox County Schools 865 academies by creating a clear parallel pathway to Pellissippi State’s new career communities.

High Schools

Project GRAD will serve as an entry point and meaningful connection for Sophomores and Juniors who currently attend Austin East Magnet and Fulton High Schools.

Academies

Each academy will offer courses that specifically tie into an applied learning opportunity. Students will visit each Pellissippi State campus and engage in activities related to the courses in their academy. The courses with each academy (excluding Dream to Degree) will incorporate an industry partner allowing students a first-hand look at specific careers based on their chosen academy.
