Pellissippi State Community College’s jazz band will perform during the annual Jazz and Bluegrass Concert Thursday, March 24.

Pellissippi State Community College will hold its annual Jazz and Bluegrass Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 24 in the Clayton Performing Arts Center, 10915 Hardin Valley Road. A perennial favorite, this free concert features the Pellissippi State Jazz Band and Hardin Valley Thunder, the College’s bluegrass ensemble. The concert is part of The Arts at Pellissippi State, a year-long series that brings to the community cultural activities ranging from music and theatre to international celebrations, lectures and the fine arts. Pellissippi State Community College Liberal Arts faculty member Allison Stein will discuss “The Great Witch Craze: 1450-1750” during a Faculty Lecture Series presentation from 12:30-2 p.m. Thursday, March 24. The free presentation will be held in the auditorium of the Goins Administration Building, 10915 Hardin Valley Road, and is open to the community. The lecture is part of Women’s History Month and The Arts at Pellissippi State, a year-long series that brings to the community cultural activities ranging from music and theatre to international celebrations, lectures and the fine arts.
