Confirm Your Schedule

ALL students must officially confirm they are going to attend classes through their myPellissippi self-service accounts and pay any outstanding fees in order to be enrolled for classes. Students who fail to confirm and pay by the fee payment deadlines may be dropped from classes.

You will be given a CONFIRMATION NUMBER when you successfully complete one of the following processes. You must confirm that you will attend classes even if your fees are paid in full by financial aid, loans, scholarship, third party sponsor or other credits. Your balance after financial aid is applied must be ZERO or a credit balance to confirm your registration.

Below are instructions for confirming your schedule for:

  • students who are paying all fees themselves
  • students who have financial aid or whose fees are being paid by an outside agency
  • students whose parent/spouse/other is paying their fees

IF YOU ARE PAYING ALL FEES YOURSELF

  1. After registering for classes, in the “Student Self-Service” box, click on “Account Balance & Confirmation”
  2. Choose appropriate semester
  3. Review account detail
  4. Click on “Yes, I will attend” you will be directed to a secure site
  5. On the “Quick View” screen, choose one of these options at the top of the screen:
    • “Payments” which will lead you through paying the entire amount due.  When your account balance is zero, your schedule is confirmed.
    • “Payment Plans” and then “Sign Up for a New Payment Plan” which will lead you through setting up a deferred payment plan and paying the minimum amount due of 50% of your balance plus an additional $20 fee.
    • When you are successfully enrolled in the payment plan your schedule is confirmed.

      PAYMENT PLAN NOTES:
      • Please print or write down the due dates for the 1st and 2nd installment payments to avoid late fees.  You will not receive a bill.
      • If you select “YES, I want to set up my payments” your 1st and 2nd installment payments will be AUTOMATICALLY deducted from your bank account/credit card.
      • There is not a payment plan available for summer semesters
  6. Once you have paid, the system will enter a code in the computer to hold your classes and validate your registration. Stay online until you are given a CONFIRMATION NUMBER. Write down this number and the date. This is your proof and verification that you have successfully completed the confirmation process.
  7. The next time you log into your account to view your charges and payment for the term, the system will say “Your Schedule is Confirmed.” You will not see the “Yes, I will attend” option if your schedule has been confirmed.

IF YOU HAVE FINANCIAL AID OR YOUR FEES ARE BEING PAID BY AN OUTSIDE AGENCY

  1. At least 1 1/2 hours after registering for classes, in the “Student Self-Service” box, click on “Account Balance & Confirmation
  2. Choose appropriate semester
  3. Review account detail, including authorized or disbursed financial aid
  4. Click on “Yes, I will attend” and you will be directed to a secure site
  5. If financial aid or outside payment for the total amount due has been disbursed or authorized and your account has a CREDIT or ZERO balance, stay online until you are given a CONFIRMATION NUMBER. Write down this number and the date. This is your proof and verification that you have successfully completed the confirmation process.
  6. If there is an outstanding balance on your account after aid has been applied, you will be prompted to pay the balance.  After paying, the system will enter a code in the computer to hold your classes and validate your registration. Stay online until you are given a CONFIRMATION NUMBER. Write down this number and the date. This is your proof and verification that you have successfully completed the confirmation process.
  7. The next time you log into your account to view your charges and payments for the term, the system will say “Your Schedule is Confirmed.” You will not see the “Yes, I will attend” option if your schedule has been confirmed.

NOTE: If you have not completed the financial aid application process, you must see someone in the Start Strong Center.

STUDENTS WHOSE PARENT/SPOUSE/OTHER IS PAYING THEIR FEES

  1. After registering for classes login to myPellissippi to set up your parent/spouse/other as an authorized user in the payment system.
  2. In the “Student Self-Service” box, click on “More Options” and then “Student Account”
  3. Click on Account Management Center
  4. Click on the Authorized Users tab
  5. Select Add an Authorized User and complete required information then click Continue
  6. The person you added as an authorized user will be sent an email with the link to login and their username. A separate email will be sent with their initial password.
  7. Your authorized user can now login through the link provided in the email (https://epay.pstcc.edu/C20161_tsa/web) to make a payment. When the account balance is zero the schedule is confirmed.
  8. Once the authorized user has paid, the system will enter a code in the computer to hold classes and validate registration.
  9. The next time the student logs into the account to view charges and payments for the term, the system will say “Your schedule is confirmed.” The student will not see the Yes, I will attend option if schedule has been confirmed. This is proof and verification that the authorized user has successfully made a payment.

OTHER NOTES

  • Your schedule will NOT confirm if you are eligible for partial financial aid (ie., not enough to pay fees in full) and you do not pay the difference. You must pay the remaining amount due to complete the confirmation process.
  • If your fees are paid by an outside agency:
    • If the college has an authorization from the agency then a payment will appear on your account and you can confirm.
    • If you do not see the payment entry on your account, then the college has not received an authorization for you and you can NOT confirm.
    • If your schedule is not confirmed by the appropriate due dates, your schedule will be deleted.
  • If you have submitted a VA Deferment form, you do not need to confirm your schedule online.
